Is Starbridge a major medical plan?
Starbridge is a limited-benefit health plan and is not a major medical plan. Starbridge helps pay basic medical expenses related to illnesses or off-the-job injuries to help your employees get the medical attention they need, when they need it. It is designed to provide coverage for minor health care services such as doctor visits, x-ray and lab tests, urgent care centers and prescriptions as well as limited coverage for maternity and surgery. Many plans also include CIGNA’s 24-Hour Employee Assistance ProgramSM giving employees access to registered nurses 24 hours a day.
