Hospitals
With Starbridge Choices you can choose your own hospital. Most hospitals will bill Starbridge Choices directly for any charges you incur. However, on occasion, some facilities may ask you to pay the entire cost of your services up front. In this case, you can file a claim with Starbridge Choices for reimbursement of these costs up to your Maximum Benefit Amount.
Avoid the Emergency Room for Non-Emergencies
The emergency room is designed for emergency medical situations, use your benefits wisely. If you go to the emergency room for the flu, common cold or other ailments that can be treated at a regular physician's office, you will pay a $100 deductible as well as 50% of the total cost of the emergency room visit. This can cost you as much as $300 and quickly use up a large portion of your benefits! See the chart below for an example.

With Starbridge Choices , you may qualify for additional discounts when visiting network providers. This will allow you and your covered family members to save money the next time you visit a doctor, dentist or vision care provider. Discount networks are just another way CIGNA HealthCare is working to help you maximize your health care benefits and minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.
Provider Discount Networks
CIGNA Bridge SM Network
Included with the following CIGNA HealthCare plans: Starbridge Choices, Starbridge Select, Starbridge
The CIGNA Bridge SM Network gives insureds access to provider discounts that help stretch their benefit dollars further. By selecting a provider from this network, insureds may be eligible for upfront discounts on outpatient and inpatient services. This also provides easy access to licensed doctors nationwide, although there is no penalty for visiting providers out-of-network. CIGNA logos are printed on the insured’s ID card for quick and easy network identification at the provider's office. If the insured does not visit a CIGNA provider, they may still be eligible for a discount. All savings are passed directly to the insured.
CIGNA Dental Network Reimbursement Plan
Depending on employer selections, CIGNA Dental Network Reimbursement Plan may be included with the following CIGNA HealthCare plans: Starbridge Choices, Starbridge Select, Starbridge, Fundamental Care
With over 26,000 participating dentists, the CIGNA Dental Network Reimbursement Plan Dental Network offers one of the largest independent provider panels in the country. It also gives some of the deepest fee reductions – two to three times larger than other dental service companies.

You and your family will have access to the CIGNA 24-Hour Employee Assistance Program, a trusted source of information and support for health, emotional and personal challenges. By calling the CIGNA 24-Hour Employee Assistance Program toll-free number, you'll have unlimited access to speak with a registered nurse, legal and financial professionals, counselors, community resources, an audio health information library, access to dependent care and other specialists that can help you with guidance and counseling over the phone. CIGNA 24-Hour Employee Assistance Program is available 24/7 and provides you up to three confidential, face-to-face counseling appointments to help you maintain a balance between work, family and other personal responsibilities.

Discount Prescription Network
Included with the following CIGNA HealthCare plans: Starbridge Choices, Starbridge Select, Starbridge
*Each covered person will be automatically enrolled in the ScriptSave Select program. This national network includes over 52,000 pharmacies that offer discounted brand name and generic prescriptions.
The program provides online access to information that will assist employees in quickly locating a convenient participating pharmacy. There are four easy to use pricing tiers:
Tier 1: Includes drugs that are $10 or less
Tier 2: Includes drugs that are between $10.01 and $20.00
Tier 3: Includes drugs that are between $20.01 and $50
Tier 4: Includes all drugs over $50
ScriptSave Select saves an average of more than 20% on your brand and generic prescriptions.

Cole Discount Vision One Plan Membership

With the Dental Plan, you'll also receive discounted vision care. You and your family will be enrolled in the Vision One Network which is honored at more than 6,500 locations nationally. You'll save on all eye care needs including eye exams, frames, lenses and contacts. You'll save up to 60% on frames and lenses and up to $10 on eye examinations. This discount program is not insurance.
